Mortals and Portals is an original PF2e adventure set in Keldora, a solar system of seven unique planets. Travel between planets is made possible by ancient and mysterious landmarks called nodes. Whenever two nodes are aligned, a portal is created to the adjacent planet!
Our story begins with four strangers, each from a different planet, that have been transported to an unknown node under curious circumstances. They soon find each other and discover they are in a hostile land and must work together to escape. Of course, this is only the beginning for our heroes as fate united them to face even greater dangers that threaten the entire system!
This podcast pulls you in from the very first episode and takes you on an epic journey that tugs on every heartstring. The production quality is top-notch with a table of dedicated, seasoned role-players to boot, all with their own individual contributions to the behind-the-scenes details. Great guys, great story and great energy all around. Absolutely worth the listen!
I don't think I've ever heard a better TTRPG podcast. The story, music, SFX, roleplaying, and editing are all amazing and the production quality couldn't be better. Bi-weekly releases give lots of time for relistens and the episodes flow well with a great mix of interesting lore, relatable RP, and fast paced combat encounters. Would recommend to anyone who even has a passing interest in RPG podcasts.
Been playing Pathfinder 2e for years and was intrigued by an adventure outside the bounds of Golarian. GM Zach Ernesti has crafted a marvelous world with local and universal lore that ties so perfectly into each character's backstory it's almost like he invented it whole cloth! This isn't some railroad where character decisions have minor imput into the final story. A choice made in one circumstance can echo across seasons to direct the narrative arc in ways that couldn't have been planned. Great, invested players in a world that gives them opportunities to truly control the narrative. A go-to recommendation to my own players WHO SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS THING ALREADY!!
